Who it's for

Is this therapy right for you?

It's for you if...

✓

You live with anxiety, panic episodes, or your body is constantly on high alert.

✓

You feel depressed, you're grieving, or you're going through a change that hasn't quite settled.

✓

You carry chronic pain, insomnia, or physical symptoms with no clear medical cause.

✓

You want to know yourself better, break out of autopilot, or make more aligned decisions.

✓

You're a teenager and need your own space to process intense emotions.

✓

You know or sense that you have the power to change your life.

It's not for you if...

–

You have an emergency or crisis that requires medical or psychiatric attention first. In that case, I'll guide you to the right resource.

–

You want the therapist to hand you recipes for living. Here we start from the idea that you already have what you need to move forward.

The process

Rhythm, depth and method

The first session is an initial assessment: it lets me explore the different facets of your experience and get a sense of how you see the world, and it lets you get to know my pace and style.

Together we build the trust needed to embrace, unravel and process your reason for coming, and to find its emotional roots. Throughout, I track your body's physiological responses, which point me to the unconscious memories that shape the patterns and beliefs we'll gradually deconstruct.

Sessions are usually every two weeks and last 50 minutes to an hour. We can meet online or in person at my office in Colonia Nápoles, Mexico City, as suits you.

Evolution

What changes as the process unfolds

1

Slowing down and listening

You learn to settle into a slower rhythm that makes inner listening possible. You'll be able to answer more easily: what do I feel in my body? The foundation is always stabilization through a sense of safety in the present moment.

2

From urgency to strategy

You reach a feeling of stability more quickly. We'll develop tools to reduce the rush and anxiety, and we'll recognize the patterns that sustain your pain or confusion. Urgency gives way to curiosity.

3

Self-knowledge as transformation

Problems become a doorway to self-knowledge. You recognize your inner strengths and manage stress more effectively. Your tolerance for frustration grows, and so does your confidence and connection with life.

Your first session

Step by step

1

Send me a message on WhatsApp. My assistant will answer any questions about scheduling and payments. You'll receive a confirmation 48 hours before your session.

2

The first session is a mutual interview: you ask any questions you need, and I explain how I work. Together we define your therapeutic goals.

3

The first 3 to 6 sessions are an adjustment period: we calibrate comfort and depth.

4

If we decide to continue, we schedule in two-month blocks with clear goals and review progress regularly.

Approaches

How I work in session

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

A trauma-aware therapeutic model. It pays attention to your nervous system responses to help you regulate what your body holds, respecting the rhythm your physical experience sets for us.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Works with the different "parts" that coexist within you. It helps integrate conflicting inner voices without silencing any of them.

Core Energetics

Views the person as an integration of body, emotions, thoughts and intentions. Works with movement and breath to access deeper layers. Offers an evolutionary and transpersonal perspective.

Systemic Family Therapy

It doesn't see you as an isolated individual, but as part of a system of relationships with a structure that can be described and worked with. It seeks a shift in thinking before a shift in behavior. It is the foundation of my approach.

Tapping (EFT)

Combines gentle tapping on acupuncture points with talking: gradual exposure to the memory alongside a safety signal to the nervous system. Useful for releasing "stuck" emotions.
